So I'm a day late...

Sorry about that. This week has been another good one. We were going to go to Vienna this weekend but decided that since we already have so many booked weekends that we would stay home for this one. Aren't you glad? Haha, I know Mom is so she doesn't have to worry about me spending more money.

But let's see, what's new since Sunday? Not very much. We had a good week of just walking around and exploring some more. My Monday and Tuesday classes were kind of boring; Finance just isn't so interesting and Art and Architecture was just a lot of lecturing and was sad because where she wanted us to go was closed. Wednesday was a bit brighter with Economics of Post-Communist Countries. The teacher kind of reminds me of Mr. Sturgeon but not quite as strict. He's a sweet old man, so it's been a fun class so far. And Management is always good, I really enjoy that class and it seems like the one I am going to get the most out of.

But as for things other than school, Wednesday night was Lindsay's birthday, who lives upstairs so we went out to Buffalo Bill's an American style, TexMex kind of restaurant. It was really good. I had something called Tostada Grande and you better believe I cleaned my plate. It was delicious goodness. It was a little more expensive than what I have decided I like to spend but it was good to get something similar to what I can find at home.

Kayla and I kept up the Hispanic food when we ate at this place in one of my guidebooks called La Casa Blu. It was Chilean food and really good as well. And although not as cheap as home, it was pretty cheap. So we were excited and it was good to actually go there and get to eat! Then we went exploring some and just walked around Wenceslas Square and went into some stores because Kayla was looking for a new outfit. They have some amazing stores here that we don't have at home. It's like the clothes equivalent to sensory overload. It's awesome!

Today when we woke up we got ready and went to eat at another Guidebook restaurant called Bee's. It's a vegetarian place but I'm always willing to try any food once, so we went. It was really good as well and also cheap. It was Indian food I believe so it was curry and some veggies and rice and a little salad and even some soup that may or may not have seaweed? The soup was the only thing I didn't finish, but even it wasn't that bad. We may definitely be going back there.

After eating, we got a cookie at the Bake Shop down the street and I swear this thing was huge! It was like an inch thick towards the center and almost as big as my hand. Crazy! Then we went off walking in search of some pubs and stuff that Czech people frequent so that we could try them out some night. We ended up walking for about an hour and a half just looking around and finding some cool buildings and getting ideas for future strolls. I really enjoy just walking around Prague, it's so beautiful!

So that's been my somewhat boring week. Nothing really too exciting. Although I am trying to get better at Czech. Some of our roommates are in the class so I'm getting them to give me tips. Now I can ask people how they are and respond in like, kind of cool. So I'll try to post some pictures soon, but until Sunday, nashledanou (that means bye)!
